Job Summary The shipping & receiving clerk will ensure the effective and efficient movement of outgoing orders and incoming materials and supplies.
Communicating effectively, works as a member of a team to ship, receive and process items that are used in the manufacture or assembly of product in a thorough, accurate and rapid-response manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to work in fast-paced environment, learn quickly and follow established procedures Maintain high safety standards for area of responsibility Interact with customer service and production for smooth, total quality order shipments from all shipping facilities, update with changes as necessary.
Ability to define problems, collect data/facts and draw reasonable conclusions Ability to be flexible with various situations Process paperwork for outgoing shipments, accurately and procedurally correct Loading and unloading trailers Review Production line-up:
maintain stock supply on assigned machine.
Protect and keep product free from damage.
Participate in monthly physical inventory procedures.
Receive and scan product with accuracy and on a timely basis into the software system.
Maintain and record shipping records and driving logs.
Maintain Warehouse Inventory and Shipping Supplies Competencies Good interpersonal & communication skills Ability to retain technical information Self-starter and team player Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated individual Assure perfect attendance and punctuality MUST HAVE VALID/OWN TRANSPORTATION Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Up to two (2) years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Expected Hours This position is an hourly, non-exempt position.
This role will be afternoons 3-11pm six (6) days per week.
